Frugal Gardening

This is my favorite time of year to pick up clearance perennials at Lowes, Walmart, and home depot.

I am still learning the art of gardening and refuse to pay full price to kill a plant.

Most of the time these stores will over water their plants (or forget to water them completely) so with some fresh soil, plant food and a little TLC they come back good as new!!
They are starting to go by now, but i have paid pennies to have these beautiful flowers! I also bought my garden ornaments at yard sales and thrift stores. Combined they were a total of 6 bucks. My large containers were free from a family member i painted them white and theyve lived outside our garage every since.

I also have a wonderful friend who is an amazing gardener. She loves to split her plants and send them over for me to add to my gardenp!

Ive also considered becoming a member of the MWV gardening club. Rumor has it the members are very generous with their plants. Frugal plants can make beautiful gardens with good soil and water!
